What is the difference between AI Voice and Video, Short Voiceover, and Auto Subtitle projects?
When you create a project, you have three options to select from: "AI Voice and Video", "Short Voiceover", and "Auto Subtitle", as seen in the image below.
AI Voice and Video
AI Voice and Video is for both audio and video projects and for projects that need multiple text blocks and or multiple speakers. You will also have access to editing tools like our Timeline Editor (and AI tools for our Pro, Pro+, and Enterprise users.) Also in addition, each text block can hold up to 500 characters.
You can also create audio-only projects that can be exported and downloaded as both MP3 and WAV files. For video projects, you can upload videos and images, create voiceovers, add audio effects and music, adjust timings, add subtitles, and export as MP4 files.
Short Voiceover
Short Voiceover is for short voice-only projects under 5 minutes with less than 5000 characters. As the name suggests, you are able to create quick projects using one voice and one text block.
Free and basic users can generate up to 2000 characters per generation, and Pro, Pro+, and Enterprise users can generate up to 5000 characters per generation.
In simple mode, files can only be downloaded as WAV files. If you need it to be exported as an MP3 file, then we recommend you create an AI Voice and Video project.
Auto Subtitle
Auto Subtitle projects are for users who have already created their video and just want to add subtitles. When you select this project mode, you will be automatically directed to the subtitles feature.
AI Voice and Video projects can add subtitles at any time by selecting it from the menu on the left of your project screen. Learn how to generate subtitles with our tutorial.
If you have a subtitles subscription plan, when you create a project, this will be the only option that will be available.
